Adelaide have brought in reinforcements to the roster for the second home series, as Andrew Hamilton makes a comeback and Brisbane-origin Goalie Nick Novysedlak joins the team to provide support in-between the pipes.
After a home opening weekend that saw Adelaide snatch one point from Game One’s OT Loss, they're on the hunt for a bounce-back weekend and they're hoping that this reinforcements do the trick.
When asked about the outcome of the team’s last games, this is what blue-liner Shaun Dosanjh had to say, “That being our first weekend playing a team who was playing their third weekend, you could tell that the rust they once had wasn’t there and for us, we were shaking it off.”
With a couple of games under their belt and the rust hopefully shaken off as mentioned by Dosanjh, the Adrenaline enter the weekend against the Melbourne Ice, who sit third on the ladder with two wins and two OT losses, coming off a pair of strong victories against top-ranked Perth Thunder.
The reinforced line-up will hopefully foster an improvement on the ice, with the introduction of 4 players into the squad as well as some earned chemistry after 120 minutes of hockey.
The Adelaide Adrenaline will be hosting NHL Night on Saturday and Mother’s Day on Sunday so why not join the fun at the IceArena for your weekend plans –
