Adelaide Adrenaline Welcomes Rising Stars Nikita Loria, Luka Loria and Dominik Trnka to the lineup for 2025!What's better than one signing announcement? THREE! We are delighted to welcome Nikita back to the team, as well as adding Luka Loria and Dominik Trnka as three extremely notable youth signings, for the upcoming 2025 season. We asked GM Glen Foll for an insight onto these latest additions - "I'm really glad to have all three guys on board for the season, upon their return from the World Championships I heard nothing but great things about both Nikita and Luka from the coaching staff, which is exactly what you want to here. It's the same with Dominik, I've only ever heard great things about him and I've seen nothing but good things too, I think each of them add something unique and bring something to the table."
The Adelaide Adrenaline are excited to welcome back 18-year-old Nikita Loria as he returns to the team for the 2025 AIHL season.Nikita made his AIHL debut last season with the Adrenaline, appearing in six games and showing promising development as he adjusted to the speed and physicality of the league. His work ethic, skating ability, and hunger to improve stood out every time he hit the ice despite being only 17 years of age at the time.
During the Summer Nikita took his talent internationally, showcasing his skills in Germany5, and proudly representing Australia at the U18 World Championship. With a year of AIHL experience now under his belt, as well as an exciting stint in Europe over the summer, we’re looking forward to seeing what this talented prospect brings to the lineup in 2025.
The Adelaide Adrenaline are proud to announce that 16-year-old blueliner Luka Loria is set to hit the ice for his AIHL debut this season. Known for his towering presence, smooth skating, and sharp defensive instincts, Loria is ready to make waves with the 2025 season marking Luka’s first-time skating at the highest level of hockey in Australia, with the Adrenaline confident in his ability to adjust and contribute to the team. Luka has represented Australia’s U18 team where he showcased strong development in his defensive game making him a compelling addition to Adelaide’s roster.
Standing at 6’3, we’re looking forward to seeing his physical play and smart defensive reads in action, potentially as early as this weekend against Canberra Brave!
The Adelaide Adrenaline are glad to announce the signing of 17-year-old forward, Dominik Trnka. The 2025 AIHL season is right around the corner, and with it will come the debut of another upcoming talent from South Australia (and Slovakia!), with Dominik Trnka set to be a part of the Adrenaline roster this season!
With 3 seasons of experience in the Czech Republic at U17 and U20 levels, in addition to playing in the IHSA Premier and Tange, this year Dominik is making the step up to the AIHL. Dominik is quick, knows where the back of the net is and relentless on the forecheck, he's sure to be a hit with our fans when he makes his debut this season!
