The Adelaide Adrenaline re-inforce the blueline, with the return of experienced AIHL defenseman, #6 Zach Boyle!
2024 saw Zach play in his 221st AIHL game, 175 of which have been with the Adrenaline. During his time here he’s put up 19 goals and 51, as well as being part of the leadership group in recent years.
Zach is extremely steady on the defensive end, while also bringing an offensive upside and being a key part of both special team units, something that was on display in the recent Trans-Tasman series, where Zach iced for Team Australia and scored twice across the three challenge games.
Bringing Zach back was a necessity said GM Glen Foll – “Zach is as consistent as they come, you know exactly what you’re getting with him, and you can’t ask for much more. His recent selection for Team Australia is a testament to Zach and his hard work and we’re glad to have him on board for the 2025 season!”
We also spoke to Zach and it's safe to say he's happy to be back for the 2025 season – “I'm excited to be part of the Adrenaline for another season and I'm looking forward to building off the success we had last year as well as improving on that."
