The Hards Transport Adelaide Adrenaline are delighted to announce that defenseman Josh Harding has come out of retirement and will be in the line up for his 250th game this weekend at home.
Josh will be just the 9th ever player to reach that mark. He will play in Game 249 on Saturday and Game 250 on Sunday at the IceArenA.
Harding is widely regarded as the greatest ice hockey defenseman in Australian history.
Harding leads all Australian-born defenseman in assists and points. Harding, age 30, has played for Adelaide in the AIHL since 2002 and won a championship in 2009. He has represented Australia internationally in 44 games.
Harding retired after an injury riddled season last year but has decided to return and is ready to play.
The Adrenaline play the defending champion Newcastle North Stars on Saturday and Sunday - a team they are chasing for the final spot in the playoffs.
