Off the back of a 7-4 loss the night before, the Perth Thunder were looking for a response and they found one early, a goal from Kolby Johnson sparking on the hosts just six and a half minutes through the first period.
The Adrenaline were trailing and the hot-streak continued for Nathaniel Benson, putting one home and tying the game up with 7:55 on the clock. Another flashpoint of the period came in the final minute, with Yu Hikosaka getting stone-walled on the breakaway by Cale Dolan, who once again began the game in fine form, even when faced with the league's second highest point scorer.
Period two came along and things were tied at 1-1, but not for long, with last night's game-winning goal scorer, Ryan Foll, stepping up to the plate and putting one home to take the lead for the South Australian outfit.
The lead didn't last long, with Jordan Kyros striking back on the powerplay, with things tied art 2-2 at the halfway mark of the second frame.
We've already said it once... but his hot streak continued! Nathaniel Benson put his team in the lead once again in this one, making things 3-2 with 3:45 to go in the second. Yu Hikosaka took back his highest points scorer title, scoring with just under 2 minutes remaining and making things tied at 3 apiece headed into the final frame!
The third and final period began and it was a shaky start for both teams, neither team to give much up with it being a deadlock. Lyndon Lodge was the man to break the tie, scoring and thus putting his team in front with 12:16 to go.
Coy Prevost continued his impressive weekend following his re-arrival in Adelaide, scoring on the powerplay and making things 4-4 to tie things up AGAIN.
From that point onwards it was all Perth, Kolby Johnson scored his second of the game, in what would eventually be the game winner, it was a one-two punch though, with Ben Breault following Johnson's goal up 66 seconds later and making it a two-goal game.
With 2:30 remaining, the Adrenaline pulled Cale Dolan for the extra skater, but it came to no avail, with Ben Breault sealing the deal with an empty net goal with 1 second remaining on the clock and the game ended 7-4 - the same score as yesterday, just the other way around.
