Welcome to the Adrenaline - Romans Nekludovs

The Adelaide Adrenaline are delighted to announce the arrival of Import Forward, Romans Nekludovs. 

The Latvian-born 30-year old plays Centre and Left Wing, offering versatility in the forward lines as he’s set to make his debut in Perth this weekend.

In the 2024/25 season, Romans played for Neuilly-sur-Marne in France2, scoring 18 goals, picking up 22 assists and earning himself a contract for the 2025/26 season, where he’ll return to the Bisons once again. 

If this team sounds familiar, it’s because current import Josh Adkins also played there, with the two also sharing the exact same birthday!

24/25 Marked Romans’ fifth year in France, having played in his home country for the 9 seasons prior, splitting his time between France3, Latvia and Latvia2, as well as icing for the Latvia’s Men’s team on the international stage in the 19/20 season.

Everywhere he’s played he’s been a proven points scorer, which will make him a welcomed addition into our 2205 roster. With 117 points in 50 games in France3, 127 points in 194 games in Latvia and 24 points in 13 games in Lativa2, putting the puck in the back of the net is a familiar feeling for our latest signing.

We asked General Manager Glen Foll about the arrival of Romans - “We’ve been in discussion with Romans for a while and he’s been eager to get here as soon as he could. I’m excited for him to get here, meet Jade and the guys, have a training session and then he’ll be straight in the lineup for our games against Perth.”
