The Adelaide Adrenaline is back at home to face the Newcastle Northstars in a double-header after visiting the Northstars’ barn last Sunday.

After falling short in a 6-1 match-up against Newcastle, Adelaide will be looking to regroup this weekend. Adelaide will have to match Newcastle’s offensive energy whilst still focusing on playing defensively to limit their scoring opportunity as Cale Dolan faced a hefty 52 shots between the pipes last Sunday.

The Adrenaline will be looking to take advantage of powerplay opportunities and creating offensive pressure to get in the zone and get shots on net – something they struggled to do in the previous game, where they were limited to just 15 shots.

With no wins on the board headed into the weekend, a 6-point haul would result in the Adrenaline overtaking Newcastle in the standings and propel them to be right on the heels of the rest of the pack.
