With just days to go before the Adrenaline's season opening clash in Newcastle on April 25, the team is happy to announce the signing of forward Tyler Grove.
Grove just finished a stand-out career in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League in his hometown of Canada.
"I see myself as a player who is not afraid to bang around the rink and put pucks in the net," the Canadian winger says. "I know the team has struggled to score goals lately so hopefully I can help there."
Grove tallied 41 goals with 34 assists in just 54 games last year with OCN Blizzard. His stand out career has turned heads of other Adrenaline players.
"We're excited to have him here," says Captain Greg Oddy. "We need that guy with a natural talent for scoring goals. Tyler has that."
Tyler arrived last Thursday and has been practicing with the team for a week.
"The quality of play exceeded my expectations. I'm excited to get going,"
