Adrenaline sign Goalie Charle Smart

The Adelaide Adrenaline are excited to announce they have signed Aussie goaltender Charlie Smart for the 2015 AIHL season.

The 6’2”, 185-pound goaltender posted a 1.99 GAA & save percentage of .962 at the recent IIHF U20 Div. 2 World Championships. Smart was recognised for this outstanding play and awarded Best Goaltender of the Tournament. 

"This is a massive signing for the club. Charlie is one of the top tenders in the country, I've heard some great things about him. I have no doubt he will play a huge role not only this season but many years to come" said Captain Greg Oddy.

"We all saw the success the Mustangs had last year investing in local tenders.”

Smart arrives in Adelaide this weekend and will practice with the club Tuesday.
