Daniel Chen Signs With Adrenaline
The Adrenaline goal scoring line-up has today been boosted with the signing of crafty forward Daniel Chen. The 19-year-old has a hockey resume which includes winning gold with the Australian U20s and winning a championship with the Adelaide Avalanche in the PHL. Daniel was also selected for the Australian U18 team in 2019, 2020 however the tournament was unable to be played due to COVID 19.
Adrenaline Head Coach Stu Henley is excited to have such an accomplished young player on the roster for the upcoming season.
“DC has had a very successful 12 months of hockey, having been a part of a PHL Championship, AJIHL gold medal and World Championship gold for Australia with the U20 National Team. We look forward to having this experience in the line-up where he will be relied upon for his tenacious puck pursuit and scoring touch”
Daniel will join brother Andrew on the Adrenaline roster with the Chen brothers set to become the 7
th brothers to represent Adelaide in the AIHL. (Oddy, Thilthorpe, Harding, Ouellette, Best, McGuinness) Adrenaline fans can see Daniel in action when the team goes on the road to Perth next weekend by signing up to AIHL.TV. Adrenaline will return home to Adelaide on April 22
