Local Signing: Steve Best

Adelaide hockey veteran Steve Best, who debuted for Adrenaline back in 2010 has today signed for the 2023 season. Proudly sponsored by Manoel Carpentry, Steve will go into the AIHL season as the longest serving Adelaide player.

Known for his quick hands and team energy, he has always been able to fire a team up. Starting the season with 131 career AIHL games played and a championship with the Adelaide Avalanche last year as an alternate captain, the coaching staff will be looking to Steve to lead by example and show veteran presence.

In his youth he also represented Australia three times, also playing in Finland. Outside of his own play he is an integral part of the community, having spent time plenty of time developing local hockey. 

Steve Best is a name that Adelaide will not be forgetting anytime soon.
