Adrenaline launches Legends Club for hockey alumni

The Adelaide Adrenaline Ice Hockey Club are very proud to announce the Legends Club, made up of Adrenaline ice hockey alumni who have made significant achievements and contributions towards the sport.

The Adrenaline will honour a different player at the puck drop of each game, accompanied with news and stories during the week.

On the last home weekend of the season the club will unveil a banner at the rink with the names of the legends listed, immortalising the players forever. 

Greg Oddy was honoured at the May 19th game vs Newcastle Northstars with a pre-game ceremony and video.

The first 13 players to be honoured in the Legends Club are:

• Eric Lien (1999-2007) - Inaugural goalie for the club. 84 games played. 2 time national champion
   
• John Oddy (1999-2005) - Founding member of club, two time champion, Team Australia representative.
   
• Ben Thilthorpe (1999-2008) - 149 games played, Team Australia representative, two time club champion.
   
• Pavel Bohacik (1999-2001) - First captain of club. Two time champion.
   
• Luke Thilthorpe (1999-2009) - 157 games played. Three time champion.
   
• Trevor Walsh (1999-2008) - Had 223 points in 119 games. One of the greatest players in league history.
   
• Glen Foll (1999-2004) - Played 73 games in early days of Avalanche. 2x champion.
   
• Chris Brlecic (1999-2006) - 122 points, 128 games. Three championships.
   
• Josh Harding (250) - Second player in club history to hit 250 games. 
   
• David Huxley (261) - Former captain (2017). 2nd most club games in history. 
   
• Sean Greer (200) - Latest member of the 200 game club. Sponsored club for years.
   
• James Keane (207) - 207 games is the fourth most in club history. 
   
• Greg Oddy (383) - Most games, points, goals and assists in AIHL history.
