Adrenaline to sport 'Pride Stick Tape' this weekend

The Adelaide Adrenaline, proudly presented by Hards Transport, will wear 'Pride' Themed stick tape on Saturday afternoon in a sign of solidarity with other teams hosting pride rounds around the AIHL.

The Melbourne Mustangs are championing the inaugural 'Pride Round' and will be wearing Pride themed jerseys, pride stick tape and and selling pride merchandise. The Bears have followed suit

The Mustangs' goal of the weekend is to promote LBGTQ+ rights and equality in sport. They are addressing subjects like equal opportunity and homophobic language used in sport. The Adrenaline will be wearing the pride coloured stick tape as a sign that they are supportive of the Mustang's efforts and LBGTQ+ rights in sport. We believe this is an issue that is best supported league wide.

The Mustangs will be raising funds for Amnesty international.

Amnesty International Australia National Director Claire Mallinson, said, “Sport should be for everyone. This Pride Round makes the hockey rink a place of safety, inclusion and fun, where LGBTIQ+ people’s rights are protected.”
