Local Signing: Zach Steele

Zach Steele is joining the Adrenaline for the 2023 AIHL season. 

The physicality of the Adrenaline gets a big boost with Zach Steele joining the squad. The 21 year old 6’2” forward is well known for his finisher instinct and willingness to throw his body around. Zach possesses an insatiable energy on and off the ice, and is always looking to fire the team up. 

Having started skating at a young age after finding a pair of old inline skates in his parents garage, Steele has skated in local, state, and national competition. He attended high school in Canada with Banff Hockey Academy to play hockey.

A versatile player, he moved between defence and forward during last years championship win with the Adelaide Avalanche of the PHL, scoring the game winning goal in game 1 of the playoff finals. He also served as alternate captain for the gold medal winning Adelaide Generals in the AJIHL earlier this year. 

He is a locker room personality, always bringing life and positivity to the group. He is extremely welcoming to any new players that may not have participated in the South Australian system and is always looking to have a little bit of fun.
