Jordan Freeman joins the Adrenaline squad for 2023.
A part of our local import group, Jordan Freeman arrived to Australia last year from British Columbia, Canada to finish his physiotherapy studios. He was quickly adopted into the Adelaide ice hockey community, Freeman played defence for the Adelaide Avalanche in their run to a championship last year.
He quickly gained a reputation for being a hard hitting, gritty player. Landing reverse hits, dumping opposing players into the home bench, all while being the one of the nicest guys on the ice! Freeman will likely find himself playing on the blue line again this year.
Through his ice hockey connections, Jordan has started working with our very own physiotherapist Steve Frasca.
Here’s what head coach Stu Henly had to say about him,
“Jordie brings a large, physical presence to our blue line and is a very reliable player, on and off the ice with an infectiously positive attitude. Through our pre-season camp he has been very receptive to learning new things and flexible in playing defence or forward, which is a big asset to the team.”
