PREVIEW / ROSTER - Perth Trip
Thursday, May 24, 2018
The Adelaide Adrenaline, presented by the IceArenA, are heading to Perth looking to redeem a poor performance in Western Australia in 2017.

Adelaide were whooped 12-1 and 9-2 in two disasterous games to finish last year's season.

But this is a different Adrenaline team. With the exception of the season opening loss to the Melbourne Ice the Adrenaline have been in every game they have played.

Last weekend they beat Newcastle in a shootout and fell 4-2 on Sunday. Adelaide allowed alot of shots on import goalie Sebastian Andersson so they will look to clean that up.

The big thing for Adelaide is trying to make sure they come away with some points on the road. They could be battling with Perth for a Finals Spot at the end of they year.

Currently just seven points separate first place from last place. If Adelaide win both games there is a scenario they could be top of the table. If Adelaide lose both they likely will be in last.

We are still waiting on livestream / broadcast details for the weekend.

Both games are at 6PM Adelaide time. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for more details.

ADRENALINE ROSTER - PERTH

GOALIES

#1 Jeremy Friederich (Tania and Jason Geyer) - Named to an AIHL roster for the first time in his career.

#35 Sebastian Andersson (Blind Installations) - Has faced 40+ shots his last few games. Has kept Adrenaline in every game and given them a chance to win.

DEFENSE

#3 Jordan Geyer (Matt Barrie Home Improvements) - Young defenseman starting to get increased minutes in his first full AIHL season.

#4 Corey Stringer (Melissa De Zwart) - Arguably had his best weekend in Adrenaline colours last weekend, scoring his first goal.

#6 Zach Boyle (TAD Transformers) - Played his 100th AIHL game last week at just 22 years old.

#21 Alex Adams (Dr. John Chen) - Has dominated in his first six AIHL games.

#37 Caleb Apperson (Dr. John Chen) - Instant fan favourite and alternate captain.

FORWARDS

#7 Ryan Foll (Ben Gregor Construction) - Has created a few more chances lately. Just waiting on that big goal!

#9 Andrew Stapleton (Robert Rogerson Consulting) - Had his first point of the season in an assist on a goal in Saturday's game.

#13 Nathaniel Benson (Kalo Lolomania and Mitch Brown) - 2018 AIHL Rookie selected to make road trip.

#14 Remy McGuiness (Victory!) - Had three glorious opportunities last week and was named as a "rising star" in June 2/3 All Star Game next week.

#18 Dylan Pope (Mary Frick) - Top young forward improving every game.

#19 Josef Rezek (Croudace Constructs) - Seven points in four games since returning from the World Championships for the Captain.

#29 Harley Anderson (ACA) - He has six points in five games and the return of the big QLD centre will be welcome.

#33 Quenton Tombleson (All Seasons Yard Services) - Getting more confident as the season goes on for this 33 year old rookie.

#47 Ales Kratoska (TAD Transformers) - Leads the team in scoring with 16 points in 8 games.

#73 Steve Best (Manoel Carpentry) - Big break out season for the forward who won Power Play Sports Player of the Week last week.
