August 5, 2017 - Adelaide Avalanche Heritage Game.

On August 5, 2017 the Adrenaline will "become" the Adelaide Avalanche for a game thanks to our sponsor Mortgage Choice Malvern.

We will wear Avalanche jerseys similar to the ones we had in the first year. The jerseys will be auctioned off to charity online with all proceeds going to Camp Quality.

Why are we doing this? To celebrate our history and connect our new fans with our older history. We also want to start to tell the story of our rich hockey history in SA.

What's Happening:
- On Wednesday 2 August jerseys will be available for auction online. Link will be posted on website, newsletter and all social media

- Stay tuned to our Facebook page to watch history interviews with people like founding player Luke Thilthorpe, first coach John Botterill, founders Della Thilthorpe/Janet Oddy and former owner Steve Oddy. These interviews will be played during the games too. 

- On Saturday 5 August we wear the jerseys. There will be a mini history display with former players and staff present to show off old programs, photos, trophies and jerseys. You can ask questions and get to know the team. 

- During the intermission we will honour all former Avalanche players in attendance

- We encourage all fans, current players, and Avalanche members to attend the Hilton Hotel post game for the official dinner and drinks. Just head on over after the game. Let's celebrate this history of the club. 

- On Monday 7 August the Jersey Auction closes. 

The Charity - Camp Quality: One thing that is important to the Adrenaline is using sport and community for good. We will be raising money for Camp Quality over the weekend in the following ways: 

1. By bidding on exclusive one-off Avalanche jerseys in an online auction.

2. By pledging money for every 'Mortgage Choice Malvern Goal' we score on the weekend. Head to this link and enter how much money you would like to generously give to Camp Quality for every goal we score over the weekend. For instance, Club President Eric Balnar pledged $10 for every Mortgage Choice Malvern Goal we score. If we score six goals, Camp Quality will contact Eric and process a pledge for $60. 

Camp Quality is a fantastic charity that supports children dealing with cancer. They believe that laughter is the best medicine. Where can you have a better time than at the Ice Hockey with family and friends?

There will be special guests from Camp Quality in attendance.
