The Adelaide Adrenaline regret to announce that import goaltender Tyler Steel has broken his hand and will be unable to make it to Australia for the 2017 AIHL season. This news comes as a disappointment to both Steel and the Adrenaline who were both looking forward to taking the league by storm. Steel hurt his hand at the end of the 2016/17 SPHL season. It is an unfortunate break for the Adrenaline but everything happens for a reason. The Adrenaline still have an import spot to fill and will be on the lookout for a new player to come over and help the team as soon as possible. Steel was the goaltender for the Huntsville Havoc in the SPHL in the USA. His team lost in the league semi-finals. Steel was named the goaltender of the month for the league in December. |
